Friend or Foe

Ever wondered what feeling does a leaf or a feather goes through. How do they feel when they are swept away in an unknown direction by the gustly winds? When they are not allowed to make any decisions on their own! When the direction is predecided by this unknown power without taking any consultation from it. How does it take the fact that nothing is really in its control? It knows that no matter what it does, it cannot change its direction.

But who knows whether the wind is a foe which bullies it into the direction it desires to show off its power or a friend which shows it the direction and carries it on its shoulder to a meaningful future.

The Goal

Over the hill and mountain top,
You can see a view that mesmerizes all,
You can't help but desire,
On the way lies stormy river and fire,
But reaching there is all there is,
Failing which, everything's amiss.

Friendship

Well, Its been a while since I have posted anything on my blog lately. More than an year actually. I will start with what I learnt in the past few days. It seems really odd how quickly you tead to find people of your kind even in a completely new place ( provided you are lucky enough). Its sort of an antennae which everybody has I suppose that keeps searching for people with same or similar frequency. And once you find such people, thats when you become friends with them.

Friendship: The most illogical ( my friends say I am too practical :) ) but at the same time the most divine relationship in this world. Whenever you are confused about who your real friends are, try falling ill. If you are in a hostel, the first few names that you would take would be of your friends. You know that no matter what they are on whom you can count on. No matter how much you bug them, they will still come back and help you out. You can spend hours doing nothing. You can fight endlessly without any reason. You can spend days without meeting being in the same building but not feel alone. You can argue relentlessly but can laugh together the very next moment. You throw water at them on a cold chilly night but wont receive a cold look the next day. There is so much more to it and its all so impractical but yet so convincing.
